at hand is grand opportunity used for lovers of run sports next to the Pong Dam during Kangra area. The manmade reservoir of the dam is 42 km during distance end to end and 2km during width on the Beas river.
The regional run sports centre now is a pioneer during these specialized activities. at hand is swimming, canoeing, rowing, sailing, and run skiing- all competitive measures. Training is plus imparted during run safety and rescue measures.
Three levels of run sports courses are conducted now. The central flow ,intermediate flow, & far ahead course.
Infrastructural facilities include a 75-bed hostel with prevailing facilities, a 10-suit surplus apartment with attached toilets, hot/cold run a beautiful dining room with a function used for 100 people and a kitchen with cargo space facilities. A workshop changing room and boat-shed are on the verge of completion. An administration oppose audience and residential accommodation are under construction.
